Bio

"When Alexandra Springer attacked Los Angeles with the two kaiju, Shrewster and Yellowback, things were already bad enough. Now, the Xilians arrived and saw fit to add to the misery. Also, they wished to obtain the two monsters themselves, and destroy the people dangerous enough to create monsters, and by that, oppose them.

Now, imagine a beam of light raining down into the bay, bringing out the deadly Crustaceous Rex and Rattler. They were mind controlled, and as such went about destroying the city. Shrewster, seeing the two bigger potential predators, fled for safety, only to come across aplenty pissed off Yellowback, who saw a potential meal in the beast. Shrewster fled from the larger predator, the two tearing up the streets in the process, until they crossed paths with the Rattler. Surprisingly, the behavior of Yellowback changed drastically at the sight of the serpent.

What was a predator had become a defender. Yellowback charged Rattler head on, the two serpents coiling and trying to generally kill each other. Shrewster, seeing the opportunity, burrowed under the streets, eager to escape. C. Rex was still attacking the Coast Guard out in the bay and had yet to make his way inland. Rattler, being mind controlled, couldn't exert the control needed to fight the fierce, intelligent, au-naturale King Snake that was rapidyl gaining momentum. Eventually, Rattler lost conciousness, and Yellowback then turned to face C. Rex. The military couldn't believe their eyes. It seemed the snake was on their side!

Well, Yellowback defeated C.Rex even faster, as a monster that thinkss for himself can typically outmaneuver a robotic like controlled one. Yellowback then settled down, not attacking the military and simply moving about. He then spotted Alexandra Springer and blocked her escape, allowing General Hicks, the U.S. head of kaiju defense, to capture her. Shrewster emerged from hiding, and attempted to stay away from the bigger snake. This was pretty much the status quo until Hicks handed the beasts, Yellowback even, over to the monster island team.

Now, you may ask what the EDF, who was still not allowed on main U.S. soil, was doing there, collecting Monsters. Well, lets just say that Elsee Chapman was one of the staff at monster Island pickup. Well, that about sums up Los Angeles. Let's see....I guess I could talk about what happened in Mumbai, couldn't I?"

Abilities

-Powerful and Intelligent, surprisingly intelligent

-Non Venomous, relies purely on it's own power

<note: Yellowback is a giant snake from a Godzilla childrens book. I'm pretty sure he was a coral snake in the book, but realize this, king snakes eat venomous snakes, so it seemed perfect to make this potential earth defender into a more 'friendly' snake to give him reason to fight Rattler. Also, two giant snakes in L.A. was my little homage to D. War, a movie I have mixed emotions about....)
