Hello again! If the 3 new pieces in my gallery are any indication, I've been trying to get my story off the ground and could use any feedback I can get, so please share words if you can find them. 
My connection's faulty right now, so cliffnotes are the best I can do. I'll try and get more details and re-use this journal over the coming weeks.
-The universe of the story is expanding and as I get over my creative insecurities and learn to accept doing what I want isn't bad, I'm getting more comfortable with what's happening and have had little thought of change in more than a month.
-The way I worded descriptions before made it sound like there would be dimension travelling happening often, but at this point that is not in the cards. Moreso, other dimensions do exist and they have influenced ours but we haven't much to speak of in theirs.
-The universe is bigger than the story. Multiple characters and settings are used and they don't always interact, but they are the same series in the same universe.
-The method I'm going with for file presentation is that these anomalies, locations and people of interest are compiled in a secret database. Exactly what that is... I won't spoil yet. 
-There is an ancient civilization and another dimension of 'spirits' confirmed so far. Both come into focus, and many alien races, some old, some new, will appear as well.
More to come over time. Sorry for the abruptness.
Upcoming Changes
I'm admittedly half posting this here to for my own benefit, but I figure it still wouldn't hurt to share.
I've been hard at work putting the overall narrative of the Fathom Files together, and now that I've actually started writing the narrative itself, I now realize that a lot of my original plans would work better rearranged or in some cases completely revamped. Now, as for the file images themselves, that's gonna mean a few changes. I don't know how deeply those who follow me like to dig through my archives, but you may have noticed Umbara got a slight redesign and a new bio template. That's the first big one, I've been working on those

A return! With a side of triumph?
Hey everybody! For those who haven't been in the know, I've been a real ghost on the internet in general these past six months. The reasons for that are many, and range from being very personal to very financial.
Well, I can now say that the overwhelming majority of those issues are behind me. I've got a new place, miles away from the inlaws I've had to stay with, a job that allows me to afford it, and my own internet connection! So, for the most part, consider this an official announcement of my return to the interwebs.
The only remaining hiccup is that I'm still working off of an older computer. My tablet works on it, but the jury's still

I suppose I should go ahead and add this in since a couple people already know and the comments may confuse others.
My grandma passed away yesterday morning. She'd been surviving ALS for the past 3 years, an unusual form of it that started at her neck and chest and expanded out to her limbs, and now, after three years of slowly watching her wither away, her ship's finally come in. Thankfully it was peaceful and painless. I've had those three years to process and grieve this, way longer than most ever get, so at this point... I'm feeling relieved more than anything.
