"Los Angeles? I recall hearing about that a few years ago on the news. Supposedly, an 'eco terrorist attack' or something, right?"

"Pretty much." Kenichi stated. "This one was particularly bad, as the Xilians and SCALE had creatures here. Well, I take that back, the Xilians didn't arrive immediately...."

"So, it was SCALE?" Eric asked "Who led it? The Springer woman I heard Tatsuo mention?"

"Yep." Tatsuo chimed in. "A Biologist and, surpisingly, an old college friend of Elsee Chapman. She was about as 'green' as you could get, if you follow me. Nature, she believed, would get it's come uppance on humanity in time. Cameron Winter, whom she almost immediately fell for, showed her nature had a lot of power. So, the two almost single-handedly created the kaiju armies that attaked San Francisco in 1998. HEAT and Zilla, however, showed them that quality stood higher than quantity in the kaiju world. They tirelessly worked on new, stronger beasts, like their early 'failures' King Cobra and Rattler. They figured at the beginning all kaiju should follow orders intead of aggressively attacking. Zilla changed their mindson that, so they stuck with more 'raw' beasts.

But, they had one disagreement, a big one. Cameron used Cyber Zilla and his new creation, the Chameleon, which she viewed as natural anathema. To her, these were unatural and not true objects of nature. So, they took their own projects into play, and that brings us to the attack on L.A."

"The military was already on alert, after the hearings of Obsidius in Seattle." Kenichi said, pirating the conversation. "So they were there when she appeared. Imagine, a lone woman, proclaiming doomsday on a California street. Not unheard of, really. Most citizens didn't regard this as a break from the usual. But, very few expect giant monsters to emerge from the bay, eager fo a piece of freedom. There were two of them, a massive snake, and a snappy shrew. The people fled in terror, and the Shrew, high metabolism and all, saw fit to crazily gobble people up left and right. The snake simply tried to slither out of the city, but the military fired on him, angering the big guy, dubbed 'Yellowback' by a steakhouse owner, into attacking them.

Alexandra laughed at the throngs of people running from nature, but ths was short lived. A single shadow flew over the city, one of the Xilian tankers had arrived. Things were about to get a lot nastier."
