"What do you mean, 'a little more'?"

"Well, lets just say he was playing god a little too much."

Tatsuo stood up and began pacing around the first class quarters, talking as he went.

"Dr. Shiragami was a brilliant man, but, like all brilliant men, ethics took a back seat sometimes. You see, his daughter was sick, and he would have done anythng to bring her back. Even sneaking her cells into the ANEB broth. He believed, somehow, this might be able to save her. He then spent all his time trying to find a cure with G-Force funds. But, it seemed he was too late, in the end. One mixture he had, the most promising, from what I've heard, was spilt accidentally, seeping off his desk, and into a 'get well' rose bouquet for his daughter he had thrown away in his science fever. When he realized this, he desparately tried to replicate it, but his daughters condition just kept getting worse. It... was too late for her. His grief suddenly became apparent, and in G-Force's minds, he was unable to continue working. But, as they came in to tell him, they found roots growing out of his trash can. One of the roses was remarkably healthy.

Impromptu DNA analysis revealed two startling facts. One, the plant was remarkably animal like, having the abiltity to produce energy without sunlight, a lot more protein in it's system, things like that. The other startling thing, maybe not as startling, but it was what the G-Force operatives wanted to see. The ANEB, or Anti Nuclear Energy Bacteria, was being naturally produced by the creature. Word quickly got out, and Dr. Shiragami was to be awarded for exceeding all expectations with a 'ANEB' plant. But then, he saw the DNA code....matched his daughters. He took the plant, and refused to let anyone have it. Such was the state of events for many years, until Godzilla would awaken from his dormant state in Mt. Mihara. G-Force decided that they needed to take the plant by force, if necessary. This, was not a good idea. Somehow, the plant went out of control when they secured it. It grew to monstrous proportions, and killed the agents sent to retrieve it. It had an appetite for flesh."

Eric wanted to ask him how Godzilla had been trapped in a mountain, as it wasn't explained to him earlier, but he decided to just let Tatsuo keep going.

"Suddenly, in a nearby lake, the creature appeared again. This time though, it was more than 100 meters tall. One of G-Force's premier members at the time, the esper named Miki, could sense that the creature was calling out for something. However, the only creature that responded... was Godzilla. The plant creature was fearful of the atomic dinosaur, and tried to drive it away. Godzilla, unsure of what to think of the creature, took this as a threat and attacked her with his atomic breath. The results... were fatal. But then, something very strange happened. There was an unearthly glow from the charred husk of the giant rose, an it suddenly began to stir again, but this time, it did not look the same. Dr. Shiragami, turns out, had slipped some illegally obtained samples of Godzilla's DNA into the creature in the years he kept it. It grew into a monstrous plant like creature, with massive jaws and an unearthly wailing cry. Biollante, as she came to be called, attacked godzilla, piercing his flesh, and injecting the ANEB. G-Force had to wonder if this plant might turn out to be an ally, but then things got a little more gruesome. Even with the changed form, Biollante still stood little chance against the atomic breath. But, the ANEB was taking it's toll on Godzilla. He was getting weaker, and we could tell. In the end, you could say it ended in a draw. Godzilla fled for the ocean, thinking he could recover. Biollante... faded into an ethereal cloud of rose petals. But, before she completely, Miki and Dr. Shiragami say that they could see the Dr.'s daughter, smiling at them."

"Not to sound unemotional, but you leave a lot of plot holes..." Eric said wryly.

"I'm only human. Live with it."

Abilities

-A human/plant/gojiran 'tribrid,' Biollante possesses intelligence, power, and savagery all rolled into one.
