Bio

"Now, I bet you have been eager to learn about this one. I'll give a simple history, and then recount a noteworthy event there. Now, anyway, Monster Island. You might not know this, but it is more accurately an archipelago. But, one of the big islands was perfect for them. It was first noticed at one point, after Godzilla's Meltdown in '95. Up to that point, Godzilla 2, his son, and Kamacuras, Sasori, and Kumonga, all lived on one island, dubbed Birth or Baas island, depending on who you ask. Well, it's obvious what happened to the Godzilla's, but the arthropods were in question after the island melted down. Well, they were found, curiously, on an island we knew of before."

"What island is that?" Eric asked, thinking of all the kaiju islands mentioned to him so far.

"It was Letchi island, long abandoned after Godzilla 2, and supposedly Mothra, destroyed the base of Red Bamboo. The EDF, seeing this, suddenly hatched a bold plan. The island had a unique function it's long forgotten keepers left behind. On the island, there was something of an electric fence, albeit much more advanced, around the island. It had worked all this time, proven by the fact that Ebirah and the Ookondora were still there. It was a one way fence, and the arthropods three had wandered inside. Not that they minded, the island was lush, and filled with life, and plentiful food. Well, about this time, the incidents with HEAT were occuring, and we found ourselves with a litter of monsters, free to a good home. And boy,did we have one.

Letchi Island was renamed Ogasawara, in order to remove any suspicions. The EDF decided to pour their all into this, restoring the labs, upgrading what was obsolete, and developing ways of annexing the islands further. The United States military began 'handing over' the creatures from the HEAT missions, eager to be rid of them. And before they knew it, Sasori, Ebirah and co. had to welcome their new neighbors C. Rex, Gila, Armie, the Chuck family, King Cobra, Rattler, Bagorah, Burtannus.... you name it. Then, after HEAT joined the EDF, Zilla, Komodithrax, and that walrus Maguma were brought in as well. Zilla kind of 'took over' the island, but only really because most of the monsters there had fought him, and lost to him before, not eager to try it again, especially with Komodithrax on his side. Titanosaurus and the big Gorosaurus were found and reeled in, and also Anguirus, Rodan, Manda and Baragon had been brought in. Well, this was the status quo for a short while, until about the time Godzilla was fighting Irys in Kyoto, or maybe a bit after.

At first, it was really just 'eople seeing things'. A figure would dart across the security cameras, monsters would wake up in places they didn't fall asleep, and so on. But, one day, tensions rose to a peak. King Cobra, a loner by nature, woke up far too close to Zilla for his liking. It's obvious he didn't like Zilla, especially with the rather embarrasing way their fight ended in Nowhere. Zilla wasn't too happy either, what with him being too close to his mate and what not. They prepared to fight, scales bristling.

But, they were interrupted. Suddenly, a massive gelatinous being, identical to the creature that became Orga lurched up from a nearby lake. It's tendrils immobilized Zilla and King Cobra, and they struggled. The beast, creepy as this sounds, reeled in ecstasy, as though it was enjoying their futility. Then, it began to mutate. Into a massive, chimeric creature, with traits of the many monsters the isalnd held. It had Manda's draconic coils, Baragons sensitive ears, Bagorahs density and vampiric tendencies, and much more. Now, he had Zilla's fire, and King Cobra's venom. Barugaron was birthed into the world.

Zilla and Komodithrax immediately tried to flank the creature, but King Cobra charged, eager to kill. Seeing this, Barugaron grasped him in his mighty claws, holding him at bay. Zilla, seeingthe opening, rushed and knocked Barugaron to the ground with a decisive smack of his tail. Komi tried to get close, but Barugaron responded with a tail attack of his own. Zilla, angered, loosed his flame. But, Barugaron's tail clocked him under the chin, launching the fire skyward, and inadvertently inviting a few other kaiju to the brawl.

Zilla, disoriented, attempted to rise, as Barugaron advanced closer. But then, King Cobra blocked his path. Komi suddenly spewed a flame of her own, this one having the intended effect. He attempted to lash out with his tail, only to find someone else was using it.

Sasori, easily one of the most powerful creatures on the island, grasped Barugarons tail at the tip. Try as he might, the mighty arachnid king could not be budged from his spot, and a chirp that sounded almost like laughter eeked out over the flailing of this amalgam dragon. Sasori loosed his lightning, causing Barugaron visible pain, burn marks lashed across his body. But then, they began to heal. Zilla's healing ability was taken too. But that wasn't the main concern. That belonged to the other kaiju headed that way.

Barugaron loosed a stream of mighty flame, eager to make some room. Sasori let go of his tail and skittered away, only to have the mighty armored shell of Armie breach the flames. Roled into a ball, and spinning at high velocity, Armie collided with Barugaron, sending him straight into a rock face. Disoriented, the dragon rose, only to see the 5 kaiju staring him down. He was cornered, and not about to go down. But, when the threat comes from above, you have no choice but to go down.

Bagorah, eager to get a piece of the action, flew in from over the mountains, launching a hypersonic focused screech. This had devastating effect on him. Barugarons flesh writhed as his cells screamed in agony, but this was only the first of many to come. Suddenly, he sprayed something like a combination of King Cobra's Venom and his own stomach bile into asort of 'venomous vomit.' Some kaiju got away, some didn't. Bagorah was temporarily grounded, and Sasori had many burn marks on his carapace. Zilla now had a massive scar on his face, and many other others were at least nicked. Armie, invincible as ever, attempted to charge again, but a powerful roar stopped him.

The island is large enough for most kaiju to have their own territory. As such, many of them had never crossed paths. Such was the case when Titanosaurus, bigger, but not thicker than Zilla, arrived. He was closer to Barugarons size than any of the others, and seemingly could fight toe to toe. But, he wasn't the only one. Now, Rodan and Anguirus could be seen getting closer. Barugaron turned to face this new threat, only to get grounded by a massive bulk.

Yes, Maguma had snuck up behind him, and swiped at him, knocking him over. The kaiju took this as an opportunity, and all turned on him. Kumonga eventually found her way there, and immobilized him with her blade like legs. The kaiju lined up for the kill, but Zilla won the day with a flame breath, powerful enough to kill the weakened Barugaron. The kaiju had all banded together against one threat, and they won with aplomb. You can imagine that things have changed since then, the monsters seem less distant from each other. King Cobra and Zilla now regard each other with something akin to respect, and so much more.

Barugarons body, what was left of it at least, was studied by EDF personnel. It's DNA had similarities to Orga's, Shiigans, and 'The visitors.' We really began to question things at this point, but the questions were kind of pushed aside, when the island security was dismantled in Final War."

Keinchi yawned, not used to talking so much, and coughed.

"Getting a bit dry." He said, apologetically. "Let me get some water." He proceeded to the door.

"You mentioned 'Final War' a moment ago. Is that what I think it is?"

"Tatsuo, you tell him. I'll be back in a few minutes."

Kenichi, the Commander of G-Force, had gone on a waterbreak. Eric turned to Tatsuo, "Is he...?"

"Always like this? Yes."

"Well, I guess it's on you. What exactly is 'Final War?'"

"I would tell you, but there's something else that happened before that. Something really important. It's called 'roject MG.'"

Abilities

-An alien amalgamation of the various monsters on the island, it has retained the more useful of their abilities

-Wickedly intelligent, much more so than it's Millenian brethren so far

note: MAN, I had fun typing this out! The kaiju that get so little fight time got the win here, and I loved the idea, so I had to run with it. Well, anyway, enjoy and anticipate the next Go G.
